Privacy Policy

SpamShield is a private email system operated for our organization's own staff. This page summarizes how mail and account data are handled.

What we store

To deliver and protect your mail, SpamShield stores the messages sent to and from your assigned mailboxes (including attachments), your folders and filter lists, and the login details an administrator sets up for you.

Spam filtering

Sender addresses and domains you mark as spam may be shared with our central SpamShield hub to improve filtering across the system. Message content is never shared.

Retention

Deleted mail stays in Trash for a configurable window (30 days by default) and is then permanently removed from the database.

Access

Only users an administrator assigns to a mailbox can view its mail. Questions? Contact your administrator.
